  1. Mad 14

Was torn between 54 and 48 OLED and due to space restraints had to go with 48 inch tv . We are definitely impressed with the clarity and the audio that this tv offers! What an upgrade from our older Samsung

  2. LouN

I had a 5yr old SONY 4K 43″ and UPGRADED to a SONY 4K OLED ANDROID 48″, and VERY GLAD of this REMARKABLE PRODUCT. Color is MUCH SHARPER and probably SHOULD HAVE done this long time ago.(also, bundled a SONY Sound Bar system, and a new SONY BLU RAY). XCELLENT PRODUCTS from SONY. “THANKS; SONY”.

  3. Bobspies1

I recently discovered OLED and I’m so glad I did. The picture this set can generate is leaps and bounds better than anything else I’ve ever seen coming from a television set. Great contrast, nearly true to life color and picture quality approaching photographic.

  4. Retired Computer Tech

I bought this Sony XBR 48A9S TV in early January of 2022 and have been
impressed by it ever since! The picture quality is amazing and it looks very
high tech sitting in our family room. Sony OLED TV is the BEST.

Words can’t express my feelings for this tv. I have been watching prices, supply, competitors versions for about 2 years. I am so happy I pulled the trigger on this Sony.
Picture quality, audio and control is the best I have ever seen .
If your on the fence, like I was, don’t wait too long, this Sony is tops !

  6. Pugmom

The features, picture, and sound were the selling points for this TV. It has met all of my expectations and set up was easy. My husband was really impressed and loved using the Bluetooth capability for watching movies. I just wish two bluetooth devices could be paired at once.

  7. Will999

Love it – the stand was a little difficult to assemble, and the unit is a little heavy (by modern standards), but it has a great picture and good sound.

  8. bball15

Bought this tv about four weeks ago. It’s picture is amazing. It’s

    sleek and fits in
The picture is really remarkable. The design is sleek and the stand almost disappears on the table.

  9. HAKA73

The TV has some great features. A personal requirement was a 4K TV in smaller frame and this model delivered it. Larger frame will look odd in my tiny apartment.
I wish there be a way to disable the “smartness” in a smart TV. All the controls are very slow. The Menu are slow as well. There seems to be too much reliance on Google environment. Apple airplay is welcome in that though.
I notice that some apps like youtube, HBO MAX etc. look a bit differently than how it displays on Apple TV. I prefer Apple TV for this reason.
Over all I am please with the hardware. The sound is great. The bezel is short so most of the TV front is mostly screen and that is awesome.
The TV is surprisingly heavier than I thought. It makes it a bit difficult for a single person to install and/or move it.
Over all I think the “smartness” in the TV and it’s google reliance is a big downside. It would be great if it is possible to disable the “smartness” in the smartTV then the menus might become a bit faster.

  10. AugieDoggie

This television is by far the best I have ever had. I have had other brands which don’t come close to the quality Sony has to offer. This is the smallest of the master series but still is perfect for my situation

  11. Mikes Sony 58

I usually don’t purchase high end tvs but I am very happy with tv. The audio is a little tuff to get to my liking for some older shows but that it’s s the only negative thing I could say about this tv.

  12. CkmartinezSM

I’m a filmmaker and hugely picky about my monitors and TV. This Sony delivers on all counts! Stunning picture, great and complete smart TV features and solid sound without using a sound bar. So pleased that Sony continues to excel with this sleek and stylish top quality unit! I’m so very pleased:)

  13. surfer36

Twelve years since my last TV purchase. I am amazed by the advances in the technology…the picture quality is more like a photograph than a TV!

Sony has always met my particular demands for quality and performance. I have adapted some periphery items to the set without any attachment or performance problems.
I am truly impressed and quite satisfied overall.

  14. Cat66

Effortlessly view the entire picture along with incredible detail allowing to focus on items within the picture. Color representation is vibrant and clean in transition. Little to no ghosting in fast motion. Customizing settings are simple and very effective. Frame rate peaks at 120hz while in 1080p resolution. The sound screen is mind blowing when calibrated with remote’s mic. Unfortunately bravia core is (hopefully for now) not available. Along with the industry’s standards so usb ports do not support audio out, opting out my bose theatre speakers. This is an excellent cinema display (second to none), not to mention the awesome experience when playing my ps4pro. I finish by writing that this television is second to none when compared with features and price, I like it.

  15. Boomvang

Purchased this 3 weeks ago (48″) to replace a three year old Samsung 49″ that developed horrible screen burn, the difference in picture quality is astounding, and I have not even hooked up my Klipsch sound bar, as the sound produced is quite good.

  16. JAD007

I decided to upgrade from my 10-12 year old TV. I tried two other manufacturers and I was not happy with the other products. I decided to really upgrade to this Sony OLED TV. Boy, am I glad I did. This TV has a great picture, excellent features and is extremely easy to set up. I highly recommend this TV.

When my wonderful plasma TV died last year, I made the mistake of purchasing a crystal TV, which had been marketed as being excellent in terms of color, texture, and overall features. What a mistake! Not only were the colors muted, but the saturation changed dramatically when viewing from different angles. What a come down from my original plasma TV! And sadly, it is no longer possible to purchase a plasma TV. Wisely, about a month ago I did lots of research and settled on this new Sony Bravia TV. To my delight it is actually even better then my old plasma unit. Vivid colors, Great textures, and the image is unchanged when viewed from any angle. I am thrilled!

  18. Madstork

I purchased the TV a month ago, the picture quality is sharp and clear. The color saturation is deep and images pop off the screen from the contrast. Compare the competition and there is a distinct difference. When watching movies and sporting events, the action shots are easy to view and pull the the viewer in. The sound projects from the screen and fills the room with theater quality. You won’t be disappointed.

Replaced a 10 year old Panasonic Plasma set that gave up the ghost in my study. Earlier this year bought an LG OLED for use in a bedroom. Both LG and Sony sets are great, price about the same, similar features. Set up reasonably similar, although Sony more difficult because running audio and video from satellite thru Pioneer receiver, and sound to an Atlantic Technologies sound bar, as opposed to straight shot internet streaming thru LG with audio direct thru LG speakers.
In the end, determining factor for me for purchase was Sony reliability and build quality. I have a Sony XBR that is a dozen or more years old, and a midrange Sony LCD of similar vintage, both of which have been problem-free and still look great. Although Sony and LG OLED panels are the same, on the basis of experience I just trust Sony build quality more.
