Common Questions & Answers
Question: which is darker…Natural tan or early tan, & which has do both have no pink tones with yellow tones only?
Answer: Early Tan is darker. Both have yellow undertones, no pink.
Question: Can this be used in a luminess airbrush?
Answer: I think it may, it’s a stable foundation
Question: Returnable if I dont like it?
Answer: I am not sure on that but probably.
Question: What are the undertones in natural ochre?
Answer: The understones are yellow, and actually this is too yellow for me, so I am using it for blending and under the eyes where I have circles. My main shade is medium beige.
Question: How orange-y (or not orange-y) are the neutral shades?
Answer: Not orange-y. I feel it blends well with my natural skin color.
Question: Has anyone tried this on tattoos for cover up? Does it work?
Answer: Doesnt work , I tried ,didnt cover, and my arm was very greasy
Question: Is this good for dry skin?
Answer: I don’t think so.. it wasn’t good for my dry skin.
Question: Revlon discontinued their best foundation: Colorstay Whipped. Can someone who used that one compare it to this new matte formula please?
Answer: I used the whipped formula and loved it until I was no longer able to find it online. Now I use this and I find it very similar. Both give excellent coverage and feel silky on the skin. Honestly it seems to be exactly the same. So glad to finally find a foundation I like as much as the old whipped version.
No other makeup can touch this one!
As I get older, its been difficult to find a good overall clean makeup product that really stays in place without drying out my face!! Ive stayed with this since the first day I purchased one, and its now my go to makeup full coverage matte makeup. The photo is of me (on the left) and my oldest daughter on the right.
Best drugstore foundation I’ve ever tried
I recently purchased this product on a whim at a Walgreens and paid the full $13+ price. I am elated to find it much cheaper here on amazon. This is definitely full coverage foundation, I don’t know WHAT the damage is with some of the previous reviewers. I’ve used Dermablend in the past and this is not exactly comparable, but close enough in my opinion when it comes to the amount of coverage they provide.I got the “buff” shade and I was shocked to find that it’s almost an exact match to my bare skin tone. A little goes a long way, and it looks so natural. My face can get greasy as the day wears on, but not with this stuff. Does not dry out your skin and literally lasts all day without the need to touch up. I am blown away by this formula – – I hope Revlon never discontinues this product, it is my new Holy Grail for foundation.
Im so glad Revlon came up with this formula
Im so glad Revlon came up with this formula, because I used to swear by Colorstay for Combo/Oily skin and then within the last 6 months they seemed to weaken the formula big time. This works even better than the original foundation, definitely try this if you have suffer from super oily skin where makeup cant stay put!! Works better than pricier foundations Ive ordered from Sephora recently!!
Great medium to full coverage foundation
I loved this and will be repurchasing! It was a medium to full coverage and went well with my skin tone. It will be a good foundation for the winter. Thank you! ☺️-just a tip for users of this product: if going for a full coverage effect use a beauty blender, if going for medium coverage go for a brush application.
Love it–great replacement product
I used Revlon Colorstay Mineral Mousse for over a decade. I loved it so much that, when it was discontinued, I kept buying it everywhere I could and stockpiled 25 or so tubes. Eventually, I could no longer find it anywhere. I was so nervous about trying something new. I had tried new ones out quite a few times after my product was discontinued, and they always made me break out or looked ABSOLUTELY dreadful on. Almost every make up makes me break out (even other Revlon products like the photofinish line). When this came, I was actually stressing a bit. I put it on, and it looked BETTER than my old make up. It goes on so quick and you can layer it over any imperfection. I just throw it on in the morning with a bit of mascara, and I am good to go. No powder or coverup or anything. It stays in place, looks natural and seems to photograph well. A++++ Please dont discontinue it! I would like to use it for at least a decade more. I am using 220, and it is similar to the 50-60 shade numbers I used to use of the mousse (if anyone needs a reference point).
My new fave
I got the “natural beige” color cause the ivory was too pale, made me look like a ghost.. Anyways, I love this color and it blends on my skin so easily and looks natural.
