Question: For a game like above and below. Would I want a standard or a large?
Answer: Standard. Its 12.5×12.5 and your game box is 12×12.
Is this bag collapsible? I wanted to ship it overseas, so I need to know the boxed dimensions.
Yes, it is collapsible. Its made of nylon, and not at all rigid. If the dimensions are not readily available here on Amazon, check Musicians Friend, or similar source. I do not remember the specs, but I needed it to fit the larger Pearl Cajon, and this was the largest bag I could find at the time. It was tight, bu…

Question: I need a well-padded bag for my 18×12 telescope tube. Is the interior of this bag suitable?
Answer: No, this case is not padded for your telescope. You would need to add some additional padding to protect it.
Question: Which one would be best to hold the smash up bigger geekier box?
Answer: The regular one can fit most games, however the large one will offer some leeway for bigger boxes but only about 2.5 inches. So really large boxes can only fit vertically.
Question: Not my choice of game bags, when will you be getting in more Game Haul 2nd Edition bags ?
Answer: If you search amazon has game haul third edition now. These are extra padded, reinforced Handles, and an added pouch on top.
Question: What are the actual dimensions.?
Answer: 20″x12″x12″ is what I came up with. I use one for an LP aspire Jr cajon and one for a meinl laptop cajon, both of which may be smaller than some other cajons Ive played on. Hope that helps.
Question: Conflicting info about the size. Will my 12 1/2 x 11 /12 x 17 1/2 fit into it? Dont want to be half inch shy.
Answer: It fit, but the zippers broke rather quickly.
The perfect solution for Board Games!
Im not using this for its intended purpose (to carry a box), but rather to carry a number of my board games around. I was looking for a product that could snuggly hold a number of “standard” board game boxes, which are about 12″x12″, without needing to turn them sideways or getting squeezed together. This is absolutely perfect for that. You can stack about 7 games inside, more if the games are smaller. It has shoulder straps, but I dont really use them. It has enough padding that Im not worried about my games getting knocked around and the zippers go ALL the way down, so you never have to reach in to get games out. I would assume it also carries a cajon just as well.
Excellent for board games
Cajon owners beware, the board gamers have found your Cajon bags, and we love them. The inside dimensions of this bag are perfect for most square box board games – FFG living card games, Dominion, Ticket To Ride, and everything else with sub-12 inch sides. The carrying handle on the top is fairly sufficient for toting around 6+ board games to your convention or game night. The backpack straps are also useful. The padding is thick enough to protect your precious cargo from most dents and dings – is not stopping a blunt force trauma from punching a hole into Alchemists, but it does well enough stopping a bump on a table edge. You may consider other items here on Amazon for lesser concerning situations – Im using firewood/ log carrying cases that fit 10 or more vertically. The cost on those is about half, but they provide much less protection, and are not fully enclosed. Overall, the Cajon bag gives a decent measure of protection with the convenience of top carry and backpack straps. I would NOT overload this with ultra heavy games and depend on the straps, however. I am not sure precisely how much a Cajon weighs, but Im guessing the inside of that box is nearly all air, so boxes filled with cardboard really weigh a lot more. Use it carefully, and it will last a long while. Maybe youll even pick up a Cajon and start a band to support your board game addiction!
Board games carry bag
I have been struggling to find a decent sized bag that can help me avoid carryng the games on standar backpacks (which damages the boxes) or in my arms ( worrying the games may fall over). This bag fixed that. Larger boxes like Anachrony and Scythe fit well standing (vertically), and can fit both while still leaving space for a regular 12×12 box on top. The price is titally worth it. As others point out, i would be hesitant to extended use or carrying fully loaded, it is not built to heave weights.
